The fans are loud, but also produce warm - hot air. It's not that hot that
it instantly breaks anything but it is alarmingly noticeable.
You can monitor the cpu load with the use of powertop, tabe: idle-stats.
You run this on the commandline only.
If you boot into windows and back to linux then you will notice the
difference between the two. Its also noticeable when running linux without
the PMD connected, actions like browsing a website could easily trigger
extra heat in from the laptop.
