Re: [info] Moving Mailing Lists + Project Management Tools
Today (since I have ALL day to CODE, lol), I'll be finalizing the transfer
of tasks from Launchpad to our task management system. It's available at
http://touchlay.net/tasks. It's recommended that:
- You create an account (it doesn't have OpenID support yet),
- Look through all of the tasks currently available,
- Update them with information you think is appropriate for each,
- Tag the tasks with more tags to better formulate a network of
- *CLOSE* some of the darned things.
I'm working on having the task management system do the following:
- integrate with our git repositories so that people can just write
"fixes bug #XXXXX" or "resolves issue #XXXXXX" and have the issue tracker
be updated as well.
- allow the user enter "issue:XXXXX" and have it turn into a hyperlink
wherever it's listed.
- implement a IRC bot that spits out information from Mantis (though
this, again requires editing the system a bit more).
Any ideas? *USE THE TRACKER*. lol (http://touchlay.com/tasks)
