Hi Ali,

The group counts of about 30 members as far as I remember, but not all of
us are active at the same time.
Before startubuntu existed we have been helping anyway people to switch to
any linux distro including ubuntu and derivates.
Every year around the end of October the Group organizes, as all Linux user
groups in Italy, the so-called "Linux Day", which is a public event with
conferences and workshops about linux, open source, open hardware and so
on. This year they (I wasn't available at that time due to work reason)
even used the public panels in the city center to promote the event and
many people came.
Every saturday afternoon some of us offer assistance on open source
software.
As I said, I will speak with them about startubuntu so that we can use
either our website and facebook page to promote the project.

Best regards,

Marcello Tescari
