Hi Jack,
I changed a few things in the way the Live system was installed while
running it, and I did not have this problem (at least in a VM)
I changed the cursor to blinking.
I logged out and logged back in.  I open Sakura and the cursor was
blinking.  So, if I understand the issue then, it was successfully fixed
in my test.  Is this correct?

These next few builds will (eventually) make things more stable.  I am
going to be testing a few ways of doing this because I think having the
best grub install is going to be vital to solving these random minor
issues, both your Sakura issue and Nio's USB 3 issue
