Re: replacing the Ubuntu Startup Disk Creator

Hi Nio,
I voted. And you already know my vote.
The SDC is not a great tool... it sometimes works, sometimes doesn't and
it takes an inordinate amount of time. mkusb always works, is very
fast, and keeps getting better. It works for things that the SDC wont
work with, without complaining and boots fine on PPC.
I would like for a bigger distro to use it (like Lubuntu perhaps???) as
well since it is built on well debugged tools (like dd) that have been
around for a looong time and are proven effective tools. granted,
zenity is rather new, but you have the developer's ear and can help
suggest fixes for bugs.
