Hi Israel,
I thought the input method would do something that a language selector does.
These two packages helped me install Swedisk language.
language-pack-sv language-selector-gnome
I am still missing something, because I have to switch the keyboard
manually with
setxkbmap se
The Swedish language pack can also be installed via the program
gnome-language-selector
and moved to the top position (above English). After reboot it will be
the first choice language. See the attached picture.
$ paipr gnome-language-selector
gnome-language-selector is installed as a program in system PATH
package: /path/name
language-selector-gnome: /usr/bin/gnome-language-selector
Best regards
Nio
