Re: More testing of the current iso file

Hi again Jack and Israel,

I tried in a system using the default locale, US English. And both command lines

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

work as they should. So it seems to be a problem with the Swedish locale.

I will try again to check if it is a temporary problem - or maybe that it would help to change to another mirror: No it does not work now (when installed in Swedish). After reboot I did some repair with

sudo dpkg --configure -a

with the attached dialogue. I hope it can give you some clue, Israel.

After that I could dist-upgrade quite far, but it got stuck in the end like before. At least one of the upgrades was successful: mkusb 10.6.6 :-)

Best regards
Nio

Hi Jack,

That's strange. Maybe there is a problem because I have installed
Swedish? I can install in the default language and try to update &
dist-upgrade.

Or maybe a regional or national server is poorly updated?

Best regards
Nio

Hi Nio, Israel,

Installed: I've run 'sudo apt-get dist-upgrade' with no problems several
times now.

Cheers,
JackT.
