Desktop Shortcuts [Torios-dev] New testing ISO
Hi Israel,
I still haven't found a way of creating a desktop shortcut that appears.
But what I did find is the following:
1) I copied the sakura .desktop file from /usr/share/applications/ to ~/Desktop and it became visible.
2) On logout/reboot it disappears but...
3) I f I go to Desktop Settings and unclick 'icons on desktop' and then click it on again the desktop shortcut(s) re-appear.
4) I've also got the Wastebasket and Documents icons to appear and disappear in the same way.
Hope this helps,
JackT.

Hi Israel,
I didn't try to detect or check this in the Live session. I found it in the Installed session. The /etc/hosts file looks the same in Live and Installed.

Hi Jack,
Ok, well I think I have fixed this issue, and it should be correct in the next ISO.
I remove the /etc/hosts file in the ISOmaker so it should generate nicely when the ISO is booted... at least I hope so. I will let you know when I'm done.
