Just out of interest which systems are older
PAE or Non PAE, I can never remember the difference, I think ToriOS is
or was for non PAE systems.
In which case, what is the status of general distribution support for
32bit systems
The older of PAE or non PAE systems
I know that projects are starting to drop support for 32 bit systems
which is going to make it harder for projects such as ToriOS to compile
/ include the latest software, but more importantly harder for us to
keep up with important security and other essential updates.
In terms of chat systems, is there no reason why we can't simply use
IRC at a set time, it means we can just type and not worry about
getting things such as headphones, microphones and web cams all working.
As an alternative perhaps we should be looking at free tools such as
Jitsi.meet for example after.
I does seem we need to figure out a new road map, work out our Base OS
and see if we can come up with a few job / task descriptions and try and
recruit more people on to the project.
Just a thought
