[Bug 1347058] [NEW] [20B6008EUS, Realtek ALC292, Black Headphone Out, Left] Background noise or low volume
Public bug reported:
A high-pitched noise can be heard through the headphone jack. My
computer is a Lenovo T440 laptop (purchased less than a week ago). The
noise occurs whether the computer is plugged in or on battery power. The
noise disappears when the sound is muted. Several other popping noises
and loud static are heard upon startup. However, these noises do not
begin until the operating system starts (i.e. no noise is heard when the
Lenovo screen initially appears). I am also unable to use the audio out
port on my docking station (Lenovo Pro Dock). It does not give any sound
when docked.
