I'm experiencing the problem that `dhclient -4 -w -v` logs messages in
the form `DHCPDISCOVER on <interface> to 255.255.255.255 port 67
interval 13 (xid=<xid>)`, e.g. `DHCPDISCOVER on wlan0 to 255.255.255.255
port 67 interval 13 (xid=0x6d59d111)` both to console (stdout or stderr)
and syslog, but wireshark shows that there're no requests sent over the
network!! It works as expected, i.e. DHCP requests are actually sent
over the network, if (as far as I experienced iff) I invoke `dhclient
-r` before.

experienced with isc-dhcp-client 4.2.4-7ubuntu12 on Ubuntu 14.04
