[Bug 1440938] Re: [EMU10K1 - SB Live! 5.1 [SB0220], playback] volume slider problem
since dB MIN of those volume controls of emu10k1 are -99999.99 dB which
represent -inf dB
This mean that if dB min of any pulseaudio output path in the pulseaudio verbose log less than -99999.99 dB are invalid

Title:
[EMU10K1 - SB Live! 5.1 [SB0220], playback] volume slider problem
Status in alsa-driver package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
After installing Ubuntu 15.04, the sound settings do not control any
of the player settings. It starts out at the highest volume and there
is no way to lower the volume without going into the settings to find
another way. But, this changes on every login. Sometimes the systems
runs for a little while ( about 20 mins.), then it begins to freeze.
Especially while installing updates. Rebooting will start the system
again, but the same thing continues.
