He did apparently as he logged a bug for the translations on the ui toolkit
a couple days back, this should be a non issue.

Great, and the scope would pull in the translated elements, eventually I
guess.

Seems it has only been an issue of me not tracking this and asking the
wrong folks prior to the time I wrote this.
