I think it would be a serious conceptual mistake to disconnect from
those; we're trying to converge our products, not diverge them. The SDK
framework version exposed to click is to some extent necessarily tied to
*system* packages which are part of the versioned archive, so it makes
complete sense for its versions to match those of Ubuntu.
(Also, while I'm here, I think "Ubuntu for phones 1.0" or similar was a
mistake; one reason we chose the version numbering scheme we did for
Ubuntu was to avoid the "1.0 is horribly broken" perception.)
