I just want to make sure somebody is working on bug #592016. Daniel's 
suggestion is to disable the muting on shutdown. The original reason 
that was add, IIRC, was that otherwise some hardware had loud pops when 
power went off. I don't know how big that problem is though.

Or if there is a way to delay "alsa-utils stop" until PulseAudio is long 
gone? Should I take the time to try to nail this down, learning 
everything about shutting down in the process?
