Have a look at the pages that are specific to debugging certain problems.
They'll give you an idea of what kind of extra info to ask for on certain
bugs. For example, asking the people with audio bugs to run
"apport-collect -p alsa-base 12345" (replacing 12345 with their bug number) if
they haven't attached alsa-info output or an alsa-info link....is quite
useful.
You may find it useful to hang out in #ubuntu-bugs on IRC in case you have any
questions.
