First of all, welcome to Ubuntu. I hope you'll like it just as much
here as we do! I'll be your mentor and you can ask me if you've got a
question. My nickname on IRC and on Launchpad is 'qense',

You've already started with reading the introductionary documentation
and making yourself acquainted with using the IRC channel. Good! The
best way to learn how to triage is obviously to start triaging bugs.
Untriaged bugs are a great way to start. [1].

Don't worry about not knowing what specialisation to pick.
All-rounders are certainly not less useful and you can always decide
later to concentrate on a subset of packages.

Again, if you have a question, don't hesitate to ask me on IRC or send a mail.

My French isn't that good, but I am able to read most regular texts
without problems. However, I think it'd better to keep the
conversation in English.

By the way, it would be most helpful if you'd give me your Launchpad
and IRC usernames so I know when I'm talking to you. ;)
