You reported the bug upstream after properly dressing it. The importance
could have been low to medium depending on how much people is effected (is
the bug there for all touchpads.). You decided well.

Good work. One piece of advice, if its not in your attention that you must
make sure that bug is not ubuntu centric before moving it upstream. Good
work!!!

Great!!! you nicely identified a kernel bug. Although there is not enough
evidence but still these type of bugs originate in kernel.

+1 you seemed to have understood the importance well..

+1
The importance high means that the bug effects a lot of people. I hope thats
true..

Thanks for that

I think Ahmed has done well with a not so occasional package to start with.
Most of the bugs related to package originate from kernel, and the most
difficult part is to identify them. I'm convinced that Ahmed has learnt
that. Having analysed the package, I observed that Ahmed has done a good
job to keep the package healthy.

I support his application for bug control and feel that he will be a good
addition in the team.
