Message #00130
Open source design for bike mounted hand mittens
Hi,
This message is coming to you via the Ubuntu Cyclists mailing list.
https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-cyclists Lat post: 2015-04-18
I'd forgotten about this list till my Ubuntu One membership expiration
approached. During the renewal process I noted my subscription here.
This message is contrived a bit to remind you and maybe revive a bit
of activity here. One of the advantages of mailing list based
discussions is that they can survive disuse for periods and then
revive cause they come to subscribers mail boxes and dont depend on
people coming to the discussion.
I could not think of an Ubuntu specific cycling topic but open source
seemed like it was close enough... Anyone have a real Ubuntu bike topic?
Does anyone know of an open source design for bike mounted hand mittens?
They are really quite simple and I can probably come up with something
but maybe someone has already or wants to collaborate. My thought is
maybe starting with an old closed cell camping pad.
Fred who is a USER of Ubuntu LTS versions ( I downloaded ver 17.10 (at
a local 'big pipe' to experiment with in anticipation of 18.04 to play
with to get some experience with upcoming changes. And to
refamiliarize myself with the instalation details. But alas 17.10
still sits on the flash drive waiting for a round tuit.
