 I had tested this in Skype also, and told me that no camera was
available.  Someone mentioned that the webcam needs to be enabled in
bios, so I went in and enable both bluetooth and webcam.  Now the web
cam works in Skype.   Try that.

Is the webcam a "Configured Video Device"?

Bug description:
It appears that the video driver on the 1000 has not been configured.  I'm not using a swap file, could this effect the driver install? (Sorry Linux Newbie).
