I downloaded the iso from sourceforge - no problem.
Used unetbootin under WinXP to put in on a USB drive - no problem.
Booted from USB, got dropped into a Busybox Kernel & a ramdrive.

A similar problem has been described on day 1 on the road to gold, see

Any help would be appreciated!
I plan to use the EEE (+"real" monitor/mouse/keyboard/ext. HDD) as a desktop replacement for a year abroad, and definitely need a better supported distribution than Xandros.
