[Question #47330]: Touchpad sensitivity is way too low, even with max setting

I've followed the instructions in question 43213 at:

but now my touchpad is making the mouse pointer move extremely slowly, even with the sensitivity and acceleration both set to max. What could I do to fix that? Thanks!
