Woo Hoo - my mouse now seems to be working, though it does take a
measurable amount of time, and a bit of clicking and wiggling for
evrything to 'connect'.

My problem with the Quit menu seems to have fixed itself too.

I'm a happy camper - thanks to all those helpful people out there!!
