I had the same problem--it was a nautilus package in my case. I thought
I'd try to remove it and reinstall, but it said it would also remove
some dependencies, and it looked like it might be a bad idea, so I
didn't do it. I tried replacing the dpkg status file with an old copy
as described in this posting, and it worked fine.
