I am using Easy-Peasy 1.0, installed last week, on a Samsung NC-10.

When booting with an additional monitor plugged to the netbook,
initially the netbook login-screen seems to have another resolution than
before. Logging in then, and going to "Screen Resolution" configuration,
the upcoming dialog is not fully visible, the action buttons on bottom
are not within visible area, so one can not push them. The dialog can
not be made smaller, even if it seems to be resizable (looks like the
netbook screen has the additional monitor's height of 768). After
committing the dialog by keyboard navigation, the magnification of
desktop launcher icons does not work anymore, and I see just parts of
the desktop, and the whole thing is very very slow (e.g. moving the
mouse). I do not know anymore if I activated "mirror screen" or "extend
screen".

After restoring the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file to the saved state and
restarting it worked again. The screen dimensions in that file were set
to 2048 x 1024 (width of both monitors, height of the bigger one).

As a workaround I plug the additional monitor only when having logged
in. Nevertheless a user who does not come upon xorg.conf file might not
get back from that state, and might be forced to reinstall the whole
system.
