Hi,
You may have heard about Spux Project.  It is basically a ventrilo
client native to linux.  At the moment spux is a little short of
developers.  Its mostly C++, but I believe the GUI is in python.

If you are experienced in this area of development please contact the
founder (Michael Sierks - msierks@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx) or come on our IRC
channel '#spux' on 'irc.freenode.net'.
