I don’t know if is a bug but the reboot button are missing. I can only log out, suspend and shut down (with some problem because in Gnome Shell pop-up I can’t see any button) and I can reboot my pc only by terminal.

- dialogs don't display any buttons
So I see. I couldn't find a Launchpad bug so I filed one with
screenshots:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-gnome/+bug/1265231
Hope that's OK.
Thanks!
- Shortcut keys are not working (I previously
fixed this on g3-next, but is probably better to patch
gnome-shell instead)
At least Ctrl+Alt+Backspace takes me back to the login screen
:^)
#6: What method does Tim prefer
regarding reporting bugs with that PPA?
As with all the gnome3-team PPA's use ubuntu-bug, they will
then get automatically filed against the ubuntu gnome project.
Thanks in advance,
Lance
PS: I'm focusing a great deal on
Edubuntu's "flashback session" during Trusty dev simply
because I must :^)
I also noticed that in the flashback w/metacity session some
applets fail to load but when the 3.10 packages hit proposed (or
the iso images) I'll take that up with Edubuntu dev.
Are you sure this was caused by the PPA? The only package there
that even touches metacity is gsettings-desktop-schemas, unless of
course you are talking about using Adwaita in metacity session.
No. I'm not at all sure. In fact when I tried the PPA in Ubuntu
Trusty (as opposed to Ubuntu GNOME) I noticed no problem whatsoever
with the applets loading, in fact flashback w/compiz seemed better
than it has in weeks.
Not really related, or only loosely related, is this bug:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdm/+bug/1245209
But I need time to follow up on this. And, YES, I was using Adwaita
in combination w/shiki-colors-metacity and other oddities ;^/
That's why I'm not too concerned. I think if we can fix the Power
Off and Log Out dialogs we're good to go because upcoming theme
changes will hopefully "fix" some or most of the truncated text.
