I can only log out, suspend and shut down (with some problem because in Gnome Shell pop-up I can’t see any button) and I can reboot my pc only by terminal. Is this a bug? Da: Erick

No. I'm not at all sure. In fact when I tried the PPA in Ubuntu Trusty (as opposed to Ubuntu GNOME) I noticed no problem whatsoever with the applets loading, in fact flashback w/compiz seemed better than it has in weeks. Not really related, or only loosely related, is this bug: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gdm/+bug/1245209 But I need time to follow up on this. And, YES, I was using Adwaita in combination w/shiki-colors-metacity and other oddities ;^/ That's why I'm not too concerned. I think if we can fix the Power Off and Log Out dialogs we're good to go because upcoming theme changes will hopefully "fix" some or most of the truncated text. Lance |
