I see that Alpha 2 is due next Thursday, Jan 23.

Are we going to "opt-in"?

If so I'll set up my test suite over the weekend.

Hi Lance,

Once Kate will send the email, I will jump in to update the list and as always, I shall keep everyone updated :)

Thank you for your support, your contributions are much appreciated, as always :)

My Projects

Upon seeing nothing yet I decided to probe a bit further. Specifically I also need to test Edubuntu upgrades, both from Precise and Saucy since their Precise was a 5 year LTS, and I noticed that the upgrade test dates were wrong so I filed a bug:

https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu-qa-website/+bug/1271020

Of course that doesn't directly effect us because Tim wisely included the upgrade tests in our iso-testing category :^)

But I'm honestly wondering if we don't need to make the first move when it comes to triggering this "opt-in" testing?

I'm personally conflicted as to whether or not we need to "opt-in" or "opt-out" of each possible "opt-in" pre-release test, but I think with the recent addition of 'gnome-shell' 3.10 we'd be wise to push some testing for an Alpha 2. Does Tim agree?

Sorry to be a pain in the neck,

Lance
