I don't expect that you will find much to do with FLDIGI on 2 meters.
Most if any digital over 2M with regard to digital would be SSB and not FM.
   Ive not heard any good amount of digital in either mode on either
modulation.

You should consider discovering 2 meter repeaters in your area and joining
a local club.   with regard to BBS's (if you can still find one), you will
need more equipment such as a packet radio modem as an added interface to
your computer.   There are software modems like dire wolf and soundmodem,
these utilities assume the user already has ax25/packet experiance.
