I have a new Ubuntu laptop and would like to get involved with laptop
testing. I hope someone can help me with a question.

How do I test an ISO? I can't see any documentation on this. Can I run
the tests using a live CD / live USB stick or do I need to install the
ISO to my hard drive? If I use the ISO to upgrade my laptop's Ubuntu
install, will test results be affected by any tweaks I might make to my
system? I haven't made any yet but may well mess around with graphics
drivers etc.
