Message #00453
[Bug 586316] [NEW] Comma consistency, p.60
Public bug reported:
Rev. 788
Ch. 3, § "Running Evolution for the first time", p. 60 (PDF p. 62)
Type: consistency
Almost every paragraph in this section starts with a time indication followed by a comma. But the second paragraph does not follow suit:
When Evolution starts[,] you should see the “Evolution Setup Assistant” window, welcoming you to Evolution.
Aside from consistency, a comma here helps indicate that "starts" is
being used as the intransitive rather than transitive verb "to start",
helping machine translations and less able readers.
** Affects: ubuntu-manual
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
