Message #03482
User name in screenshots
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Hello,
in our style guide is written, that the screenshots should be captured
in an account with full user name "Ubuntu User", but most of the
pictures in precise have the user name "Ubuntu". Ok, one picture has
"Ubuntu User", it's 4.1, the Bluetooth menu (was captured by me ;-) ).
In the lucid release is used "quickshot" as user name, but this I
would avoid, because quickshot is not usable anymore.
What should we do (for precise-e2)?
a) Change the style guide to the reality and recapture only one picture.
or
b) Recapture a lot of pictures and keep the style guide?
The next question is, what to do with the translations? If the
majority is for "Ubuntu User" should we translate the "User", too?
"Ubuntu-gebruiker" in dutch, or "Ubuntu-Benutzer" in german?
Your comments are welcome. :-)
Greetings, Carsten
