Re: Problem installing additional Latex packages

 

Hi Tejas,

When you hit "L", it should prompt you for each directory (and have the
default in the brackets). If it doesn't have the defaults there, then
here are what you'll select (based on my setup right now)


> <L> create symlinks in standard directories:  [X]
>             binaries to: /usr/local/bin
>             manpages to: /usr/local/man
>                 info to: /usr/local/info

I should note that before I hit "L", the directories were empty. They
were populated when I hit "L" and selected the default values for each.
Essentially, I'm doing exactly what you are. I removed my current
installation, and am running it from the install-tl file that I
downloaded from the Authors page.
