Hey Patrick.

As I was scanning through the current rev of the manual, I, too, saw
sections as you've described...where the Dash was referenced in a string of
menu picks. My position is that this should remain as is exactly because
it's a series of menu picks. When the Dash is referenced on its own, then I
believe the article "the" should be included.

So...my believe is any mention of the Dash in a series as you've reproduced
is just fine.
