If you haven't already, I'd suggest taking a look at chapter 7 of our
style guide (available from
<http://files.ubuntu-manual.org/style-guide.pdf>). It will outline
most of the rules for what should and shouldn't be translated. You can
find some more information about the LaTeX syntax in chapter 4.
