Re: Revisions on a section

I think it a good idea to explain in our manual the difference between these two words. We could add these words to our glossary and index and give an explanation with examples in section "Security concepts > Password".

I would like to introduce the word "Pass-phrase" instead of "Password".
As a phrase and using numbers in place of some letters can produce a
much stronger credentials than a single word and less likely to be guessed.

So, as example, the phrase you chose was "Linux is my friend", if you
mix in numbers to replace some letters becomes "L1nux 15 my fr13nd"

Passwords were used when systems had limited your input to just a few
characters. In the modern age, the passphrase is much more secure.

Just my thought.

Jeffery,

I'd recommend that you send a description of what you would like to do, for example, give us the section title, what chapter it will be in, and what it will be about (in a sentence or two.) that's just my opinion though.

Thanks,

I would like to add to a section. Can I just branch that and ask for a
merge or should I do it another way??
