ubuntu-emulator and ubuntu-device-flash
Hello everyone; just to let you know that if you are on trusty you can
install ubuntu-device-flash and ubuntu-emulator
ubuntu-device-flash is going to be replacing phablet-flash and removes
all the old cruft and hacks set in place following all the architecture
changes and backwards compatibility laying around; this is only useful
for flashing image based upgradable images, I wrote about it here
http://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/phablet-flash-in-golang/1297 and Alex
wrote about it in
http://developer.ubuntu.com/2014/01/installing-ubuntu-to-phones-using-mac-osx/
Except for the name change everything is the same; to get it directly
into your go env (if you have one) do
go get launchpad.net/goget-ubtuntu-touch/ubuntu-device-flash
Additionally, there's also ubuntu-emulator which is supposed to easily
help you manage your Ubuntu Touch emulator images for local use (notice
that apparmor is enabled by default here). I've updated the previous
instructions here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/Touch/Emulator#Instructions
and there's been on
http://discourse.ubuntu.com/t/phablet-flash-in-golang/1297/2 for a bit.
For reporting bugs feel free to use ubuntu-bug [package]
Cheers
