while this was tested by mterry and me on all devices with and without
SF, we indeed did not test cdimage images and as steve mentioned
seemingly a setup for the adb session was wrong ...

note also that the whole landing of the feature took about 8 weeks, we
need to make sure to not have such long delays in the future, so that
the system underneath does not change so much from request to actual
landing ...
