Scopes for ubuntu touch, part feedback
Hi there,
I've got a couple of questions regarding the new scopes that have landed in
ubuntu touch
1. In the previous version of scopes, searching for any music from the
music scope gave me results from soundcloud and grooveshark which was
fine, the search results were generally hit and miss but at the endof
the day, i did get my music online.
However, in the new scopes, there is a scope for online music which is
supposed to search for online music. However, whatever i search, i get
results only from ubuntu one. The soundcloud music service seems to have
disappeared for no apparent reason. Is it going to be reintroduced?
2. In case of the "scopes" scope, what content is searchable right now? and
which are the new scopes that will be added in the near future?
On an unrelated note, is there any plans of adding a personalised voice
assistant in the near or distant future?
Also, the nexus 4 i use is now far more responsive than it used to be and i
havent faced a single unity 8 crash till now after opening multiple apps or
searching for anything online. Thats seriously amazing work. Hats off to
you guys. But, even though its more responsive, the phone is a tad slow for
my taste. Scrolling up or down quickly produces a brief slightly irritating
stutter. Opening apps has become a little faster, but still, from an
average user perspective, its slow and irritating. Bluetooth still does not
work, thats been a long outstanding issue. One last question. Is there
going to be any way to forward messages recieved or atleast copy paste them
for the time being to be sent?
Thanks and regards
