ubuntu-device-flash --list-channels|grep stable
ubuntu-touch/stable (alias to ubuntu-touch/ubuntu-rtm/14.09)
stable (alias to ubuntu-touch/ubuntu-rtm/14.09)

There is no "ubuntu-touch/ubuntu-rtm/stable" channel, which would
explain why you might see problems with that one.

Also, ubuntu-touch/ubuntu-rtm/devel points at the 14.09 branch, not
14.09-proposed (if you were looking for the proposed images).

I don't think there are any RTM images being built for flo right now
though. Does --channel devel-proposed work for you? That should get you
the utopic devel-proposed image, which may be slightly out of date as
well, given utopic is done and released now, so nothing should be
landing in utopic, but may get you back to a booting device.

Also, try waiting a bit longer. Sometimes my phone will sit at the
Google logo for what seems forever, and then eventually boot.
