I don't think he wants the backend to be a testing ground, but the actual
clicks. If the store working depends on the latest code drop and has the
potential to fail, then it is by no means the answer to the problem.

IIRC, there was possible talk about using the same store we use today but
with an option to upload a devel/staging/proposed click package and users
subscribed to it would get it whilst those who aren't won't.
