Thank you for clarification. :)Am Donnerstag, 9. April 2015 16:16:40 CEST schrieb Łukasz 'sil2100' Zemczak:
Hey! @Niklas: as far as I know the phasing is only done on the OTA level. ubuntu-device-flash should be able to pick up the new image normally, but simply the OTA notification will not be available on all devices for the phasing period. @Anca: we have a proper solution in the works already (proper DB + frontend), so we simply need to put more resources working on that and just get it done. The CI Train spreadsheet was only supposed to be a proof-of-concept, but due to various reasons it stayed with us for over a year already. Cheers! This will also bethe first phased update we provide. This means that the OTA deploymentwill commence in phases, on each phase more and more (selected randomly) users will get access to the update itself. This type of deployment alsomakes sure that if there are serious issues found that we have missed during testing, we should get the info about them before all usersalready update - giving more time for instant action. The phasing periodhas been currently set to 1 day. More on this during the actual OTA release. Will it be possible to install the update manually using ubuntu-device-flashbefore one would normally receive it through the system settings?
