Message #12141
Wi-Fi on BQ switch doesn't work
Hi,
I try to use my BQ without rebooting - in this way I collect various bugs which pop up. As I reported here:
https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices-system-image/+bug/1442607
https://bugs.launchpad.net/canonical-devices-system-image/+bug/1442784
I have some problems with Ubuntu Store - currently I cannot connect to it.
And now I have new issue: Wi-Fi switch stopped working. To be more precise, the switch does work (change color to green), but after turning the switch on nothing happens - the list of available networks is not displayed and the phone does not connect to the router.
I guess that rebooting the phone (or restarting some services) should resolve the issue, but maybe before I do that I can somehow help you to track the bug. I am hesitant to open new bugs report since in a very close future there will be a new version of OS, but if you think I should do this, let me know.
Another thing I noticed by accident is that if you compute simple expression like this
10*0,2+12*0,4+14*0,25+16*0,15
in calc app you get as a result
12,700000000000001
I understand that computing on floats is tricky, so I am not sure if you consider the above as a bug or feature. If you think that I should report this as a bug let me know.
Antek
