System Apps summary June 5th 2015
Status w/e June 5th
Summary:
- Sprint 6 planning finished. Committed to 17 stories worth 99 points for
this 3 week sprint. High priorities will be browser features, browser
convergence, messaging-framework, and content-hub support for legacy apps
- Landed bug fixes for OTA-4 release that were targetted and started work
on OTA-5 bugs
- Participated in SDK sprint in London and will assist in some convergence
related stories that were agreed upon at the sprint
Browser:
- Bookmark folders: iterated on MR, fixed reported issues and moving forward
- Keyboard Shortcuts: iterated on MR, fixed reported issues and moving
forward
- Browser Tabs: work in progress on prototype for tabs in desktop mode
(converged browser)
- Converged history view: work started on implementing history view for
desktop mode
- Basic Auth: work in progress and MR's under review, will finish during
this sprint cycle.
Telephony:
- [address-book] [dialer] [messaging] in-line editing and creation of
contacts landed in wily, syncing to vivid this week
- messaging-framework: planning for 2nd sprint completed. Priorities will
be log on/log off UI integration with online accounts, basic messaging
(new, delete, converstation history) and delivery reports
- reviewed design document for login UX and discussed back end changes
needed to support it
- reviewed auto-connection/fallback strategy and waiting on answers to some
outstanding questions before continuing implementation
content-hub:
- File picker: work underway for file picker ui for transfers via
content-hub which is needed for convergence
- content-type all: work underway to support registration for ALL
content-type
System Settings:
- reviewed status with design around settings needed for converged device,
priority will be monitor, keyboard and mouse settings. design wip on these
currently.
- reviewed status of new visual assets for settings, design nearly
complete but will hold off on implementation until new ListItems land in SDK
