Re: [Meizu MX4] The sent button in messaging app won't respond

Hi list,

same problem for me in Meizu MX4 (arale r4).
When I write an sms or mms message if the cursor remain on the "text box", the send button don't work, I have to tap on the "telephone number box" to permit at the send button to work.

There's a bug open?

Thank you,

Marco

Hi Gilles

Sorry to hear you are having problems with messaging-app. Would you mind reporting a bug and providing us with the messaging-app log file located at:
/home/phablet/.cache/upstart/application-legacy-messaging-app-.log

The second problem (the one after restoring the system), does it show any other dialog or just the swipe item tutorial? You tried clicking the "Got it" button (that's the confirm button you mentioned?)

Please let me know if you need any help reporting the bug and retrieving the log files.

Cheers

Boiko

    Hello,

I am currently facing severe issue with my new Meizu MX4. Since
OTA 6, the send button in the messaging app is not working. The
only way I managed to send messages is to swipe from right to left
to display all the opened apps, then go back to the messaging app
    and hit the button.
But anyway, after a fews messages, the send button won't work (It
does the same after rebooting the phone).

I tried to restore the phone default value by reintializing it in
system app. After rebooting, I have another issue. After I sent my
first message, the screen is stuck in welcome mode showing the
message actions you can do when swiping right or left on a
message. There is no response when a hit the "confirm" button...

I really need help with this.

    Thank a lot.
    Gilles.
