I don't think we need that, as we have all the bits and pieces
available to move forward.
With the details provided by sturmflut, it comes down to figuring out
all the right ioctls and wrapping those up nicely, exposing it to an
app.

All help in figuring out the right values to ioctl are very much appreciated.
