ive tried that but that doesnt work on any of the images on the nexus 7 
its starts in portrait mode  then when you open some apps it switches round
but when you close the app its back in portrait!
it used to owrk and then im sure somebody mentioned a bug...
If i boot into android its fine 

must be some way of stopping the initial rotate 
it does is as soon as the installs finished and you start selecting your 
location and pass code
