Ubuntu Touch as a TV remote? (chromecast)

I can cast YouTube videos to my TV from my desktop Ubuntu PC using a Chromium browser. However, can't do it from my Nexus 7 since I can't find Chrome/Chromium browser in the Ubuntu App Store. There is a program ran from the terminal called "castnow" and it does allow me to cast video files I have downloaded, but it doesn't seem to be able to cast YouTube videos.

Does anyone know how to cast YouTube videos to chromecast from their Ubuntu phone/tablet? Or are there plans for a Chromium app?
