UPnP / dlna video casting
I recently bought a Miracast dlna WiFi display dongle, and it works "okay" with Touch app "UPnP Present". I have Nexus 7 flo with rc-proposed (OS build: r356). UPnP Present needs more controls like Play, Pause, Stop, a sliderbar for fast-forward and rewind. And generally, it's not 100% stable. However, it appears to support just about any type of file format I throw at it: mp4, mp3, jpg, and casts it to my TV.
The Miracast dongle has controls that are accessible from the web browser via http://192.168.1.11, but fast-forward and rewind doesn't work well.
Who wouldn't like to use their phone/tablet as a TV remote control to cast videos to their TV?
Does anyone know a current better way to cast video content from their Touch device to a TV? Or anyone know if UPnP Present is coming out with a newer version with better controls and stability?
Thank you.
